Shikamaru drabbles.

midnightdiddleTwo het drabbles, and not any het. A one boy, two girls het. Hehe. Ah, and they aren't in chronological order. They're just in the order in which I wrote them.
How Bothersome
Women were bothersome, he'd always said, so he'd never be able to say why there were two women in his life. Somehow, both Ino and Temari had wormed their way into his life, wrapping themselves around him until there was no point in trying to continue a life without them. When he lay dying, they were both there, crying and arguing and swearing at him, telling him he was an idiot in between kisses and desperate clutches.
“How bothersome,” he gasped out, touching Temari’s blonde hair and Ino’s pale skin. How bothersome, to try and comfort two women when it hurt to even think, but perhaps it wasn’t so bad. “How bothersome,” he said again, because it was the only way he could think of saying ‘I love you,’ ‘I need you,’ ‘please, dear God, don’t leave me, not now, not ever.’
How bothersome indeed.
A Novelty
“I don’t like this,” Temari grumbling, sprawled most indecently across their bed, naked in the hot afternoon. “I only see you when you come to Sand, but you always see Ino. She’s on your team, she’s always there.”
Shikamaru sighed and flipped his pillow over, shoving his cheek against the cool fabric. “That’s why I love you,” he muttered into the pillowcase, ignoring the way Temari stilled next to him.
“Why?” the older woman asked, curious.
He rolled away from the pillow to kiss the corner of her lips lazily. “Because you’re not always there. It’s nice, like a novelty.” He rolled back onto his cool pillow and Temari stared at him, unsure whether she should be flattered or insulted.
Because I love Shikamaru, and I love the idea of him with Temari and Ino. Yay!

Date: 2005-05-20 04:44 pm (UTC)I like Shika with Temari, but at the same time, I like him with Ino. And I like Shika, Chouji,and Ino all together, too. Kind of like how I like Kiba with Hina or Shino, and Hina with Shino. Everyone in Naruto's in these huge, enormous threesomes and orgies and mixed up relationships.
I desperately want to write a KakaIru GenmaRaidou GenmaIru fic, too. Just so I can write a rather Iru who sleeps with everyone and everything.
And the thought of GaiIru or IbikiIru is just making me squee insanely. And GaiKaka? Oh yes, oh yes.
But I'll hush now, because this is becoming a rather long reply. :)
