Ah, once you get used to stick shift, automatics just won't feel as good. You actually have a lot more control with a stick shift. Don't worry too much about stalling out. I've been driving stick for over a decade and I still do it on occasion. *hug* The honker was annoying, but he was probably just in a major rush so it had less to do with you having problems then him having problems.
