And I'm kinda sort of a bit tired with KakaIru for right now. x_x Whoops. Oh well. So, if anyone wants a drabble of an pairing/fandom, I'll write one. Because I'm bored. And good crap, but I feel so useless and such. I do absolutely nothing, all day, every day. No school, no work, no nothing. I sleep, get sick, sleep, get better, and so on and so forth. But enough complaining, I have random drabbles of 100 words or less. Or somewhere around there.

One For Another

They were children, little babies, but that didn't matter. It was either them or his baby, them or Padme. He could save her, if he just killed them, and when it was her life, nothing in the galaxy was too much or too little. She was everything, she was Padme, his life and love and reason for living.

They didn't fight back, the little babies. They clutched their tiny lightsabers in their hands and stared at him with eyes, huge eyes that were dark and frightened and looked like hers. It was too easy, like a slaughter, and even when he cut down one child, and another, and another, they didn't fight back. They still trusted him, like the silly, foolish children. Like the silly, foolish child he was. And what if Sidious was to cut him down the same way?

Anakin flicked his wrist, his lightsaber sliding so easily through another tiny body, and ignored the way he felt sick. After all, this was all for Padme and their baby, and they meant everything under the suns of Tatooine. Didn't they?

Beautiful Children

They had been such beautiful children, Anakin and Padme, young and headstrong. They ran and ran and ran, never stopping, and when Obi-Wan tried to catch up with them, to help them, to give them strength, they just ran faster.

Anakin had been beautiful until the end, when he burned and burned inside and out, just like he'd been burning since he was a child and Obi-Wan first saw him, small and insolent on Tatooine. He'd been like the twin suns, hot and fiery, bright enough to burn Obi-Wan's eyes, to make his eyes water from pain and something else.

Padme was still beautiful, still and cold, surrounded by flowers on Naboo. She'd been completely and utterly captivated, beautiful and mesmorizing, soft eyes and strong chin, gentle voice and harsh words. She'd never wavered, had never backed down or given up.

They'd been so beautiful apart, and together, for that short time, they'd been something he couldn't even imagine. Now they were dead, hot and cold, burned and frozen, so far apart, but somehow, they were still beautiful.

Such beautiful children.

For the Love of a Woman

She remembered the story that had been her favorite when she was a young girl, back on Naboo. A king had given up everything, his kingdom, his family, his prestige, and, in the end, even his life, all to be with the woman he loved. The story had ended as a "happily ever after," the unspoken promises of children and grandchildren, flowers in the morning and kisses at night, everything that love was supposed to be.

When she'd seen Anakin after all of those year, grown up, she'd wondered if he was her king, her knight, the man who'd give up everything for her, the one person she'd been waiting for all her life. He never disappointed her. He gave up his honor, his master, his life, and the galaxy. He gave what he never even owned, and more. Everything was for her, and in the end he died, just for her, for her love.

So where was her happy ending?

And...that's it. And I'm bored. *droop*

Right, seen the film so now I have been able to read your drabbles without fear of teh spoilers.

The first one was really good. I think you've managed to portray what Anakin must have been feeling while slautering the Jedi children one after the other pretty accurately. That part of the film got to me quite a lot and I feel this drabble is well written and just right for it.

The second was an excellent way of showing how Obi-Wan viewed Anakin and Padme, together and apart. I liked the way you referred to Anakin as being dead as even though he doesn't actually die physically, mentally and emotionally he becomes Darth Vader and so therefore Anakin ceases to exsist (though of course we do eventually find out he still has good in him, lol).

The third drabble was slightly more complicated than the other two. I had to reread a couple of lines to get it straight in my head about what you were trying to put across but I don't view that as a bad thing at all. Drabbles are even better if the reader has to really think about what they're reading, in my opinion. Very bittersweet sort of drabble anyway.

But yes, overall, three very good drabbles, which were perfect for me to read after having watched the film and suffering from Star Wars withdrawal already ^^;

Oh, thank you. I just saw Star Wars again this morning. It was nice, to see it again, but I was somewhat distracted, since I'm sick again... But I hoped you liked Star Wars!
